I want to be a positive encouragement and spiritual influence on the people I interact with – not just when I’m the conference speaker but also when I’m in front of a cashier or server when I’m in a hurry.
I want my parenting to be more about being present and spiritually connected than creating children that the world views and says well done.
I want my marriage to be filled with more fun and less negotiations.
I want my friendships to be real filled with both tears and laughter as we share life together.
I want to be grateful for the life I’ve been given and the calling I’ve received rather than struggling with the burn out that comes with the draining stress of the work I do.
I want to leave my staff with the confidence that with God’s help they can do anything and at the same time the wisdom that they shouldn’t do everything.
I want to focus more on resting and relying on God than stressing over my responsibilities and the seeking recognition of others the publishing and speaking world at times demands.
I want to lay down my life enthusiastically answering His call toward glorifying the name of Jesus and building the Kingdom of God here on this earth.
I’d love to know more about you and your values and goals. Feel free to comment below a phrase or idea you would include in your life manifesto. I can’t wait to read them!
