Speaking to Students and Chapel Services
I love equipping students! As a middle school and high school counselor and previous youth minister, I have a passion for equipping the next generation to make choices leading to a lifetime of learning, character development, and for Christian audiences, a life that is connected to and honors God and His Kingdom.
Living Loved: A Teen’s Answer to Self-worth Struggles
Does anyone really like me? Am I good enough? Does my life matter?
These questions reveal the real struggles today face. In a world that says our value is determined by how we look, what we do and who likes us, students today feel like they can never measure up. Professional Christian counselor of 25 years, Michelle Nietert has spent decades working with students in the church, counseling office, and schools who are struggling with levels of depression and anxiety never seen before. The foundation for preventing and overcoming these struggles is a biblical worldview of self. Using Scripture, Michelle’s interactive and energetic presentation empowers students to embrace a new way of thinking and living they desperately desire. She provides practical tools for them to use daily, so they can live out of an identity in Christ, so they can become the overcomers they were created to be.
